We Are Really Locked Down
- Thank God that the flowers are blooming.
- Who knew that walking my friend’s dogs would become the highlight of my day?
- I liked it better when social and distancing were two separate words and not regularly used phrase.
- I have started wearing my eyeglasses every day, I touch my face less that way.
- The CBS TV show Survivor makes me feel good. The show seems live and it is one part of my routine that is still possible.
- This coronavirus situation is extra tough because it has an ambiguous ending and it has also taken away some of the things that we looked forward to such as; graduations, weddings, concerts and sports events.
- I took a lot of things for granted.
- Too bad ABC TV show The Bachelor has just ended, since my group of Monday night friends always had a lot of laughs over the artificial drama. One of my friends even made a spreadsheet by hand and the document became larger and larger each week as she taped the pages together, noting contestant’s names, occupations, where they lived and about their dates with the Bachelor.
- If I had kids, I would try to read a chapter of a great book (maybe a Harry Potter) with them each day.
- If it is slow at the IKEA furniture store, do you think they will start assembling the furniture for us?
- God bless Omaha Steaks who delivered chicken in pastry (like a chicken pot pie) today.
- If you had seen the world’s current situation in a movie or read about it in a book, you wouldn’t have believed it.
- Go out and play, even if you can’t go on a playground.
